INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITION

The words of which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of this ‘Terms of Service'

  • 'Company' (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Aakritee Saree.
  • 'Product/Goods' refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • 'Orders' mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • 'Sale/Service' refers to the Sale of Products.
  • 'Website' refers to Aakritee, accessible from aakritee.com.au.
  • 'You' means the individual accessing/using the Service, or the company/other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing/using the Service, as applicable.

PURCHASE POLICY

  1. We offer Aakritee customers products directly from stocks in Sydney. We also offer Pre-order items from a wide range of selections.
  2. For pre-order bookings, 50% of the item/s value should be deposited. Without the deposit, no product should be considered as booked.
  3. For either of the orders (i.e. “In-stock” as well as “Pre-order”), the due amount must be paid through bank transfer, before we post the product to the purchaser. The same is applicable if the purchaser decides on direct pick-up.
  4. For in-stock item/s, please pay full with postage so we can post ASAP.
  5. Colours may vary slightly because of camera resolution/ lighting. You may request a video or visit our place to get a feel of in-stock items.

SHIPPING POLICY

  1. We offer Aakritee customers products directly from stocks in Sydney. We also offer Pre-order items from a wide range of selections.

  6. Shipment Processing time: All orders are typically processed within 24 hours. Orders received on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Even if the company is experiencing a high volume of orders, we strive to adhere to the given timelines. Any delay in processing will be informed upfront via email, text or chat. 
  7. Shipping rates and delivery estimates: All shipments will be carried out via Australia Post unless otherwise specified. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are stated below. Shipping charges are fixed, and Aakritee would not be responsible for delay, damage or loss of parcel, once it has shared shipping details with the customer, which is beyond Aakritee’s sphere of control.
  8. Shipping Charges – Within Australia: A$10 per order; Estimated delivery time: 3-5 business days.
  9. Express Shipping Charges – Within Australia: A$12 per order; Estimated delivery time: 1-2 business days.

CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

  1. Once any pre-order items are booked, that cannot be cancelled or changed. For other orders, it can be changed, but the order cannot be entirely cancelled.
  2. Full refund for faulty or damaged product. You may need to drop or post the product back to us. We would also refund postage.
  3. Please make a video of the opening of parcels through a post that is sent to you in order to claim any refund. If the product is physically collected from us, we recommend checking the product properly. We may not be able to process the return request for later.
  4. Return can only be processed for a damaged or faulty product. We will not be able to process any return or change request due to a change of mind of the buyer.
  5. For a refund, you must notify us within two days after receiving the parcel.
  6. In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision using a clear statement. You can notify us of your decision by, email (support@aakritee.com.au) or chat (by using the chat bubble at the bottom right of this page. Available at all times of the day)
  7. If a product ordered is not available, we will refund the full deposited money and offer a A$15 discount for the next purchase.
  8. Returning Goods – Cost and Risk: You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. Aakritee would reimburse the customer for the shipping charge. We cannot be held accountable for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
  9. We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
  10. The following Goods cannot be returned:
  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the expiry date is over.
  • The supply of goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods, which are, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

GOVERNING LAW

  1. These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed under the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

  1. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
