Georgette Saree

Georgette is a lightweight, sheer and drapey fabric made from highly twisted yarns of silk, rayon or synthetic fibers like polyester or nylon.

Georgette fabric is known for its fluid drape, softness, and slight crinkled texture. It has a unique sheen and is often used for sarees, dresses, and blouses due to its elegant appearance and breathability.

When using a georgette saree, handle it with care as it is delicate and prone to snags or tears. Dry cleaning is recommended, but hand-washing in cool water with a mild detergent is also possible. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, and air dry in the shade. Iron on a low setting while slightly damp. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
